Welcome to
Library2Go -
Oregon’s Digital Library Service
Library2Go
is a new service that allows you to download audio books
onto your computer or MP3 player, or burn them to CD.
Eight public library
systems cooperated to create the Oregon Digital Library
Consortium, sharing costs and pooling resources in order to
better serve their patrons.
Those libraries are:
Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, Deschutes Public
Library, Eugene Public Library, Jackson County Library
Services, Library Information Network
of Clackamas County,
Multnomah County Library, Salem Public Library, and
Washington County Cooperative Library Services.
Best-selling titles are
available 24/7 from our website, and are playable
on your PC or MP3 player
at home, in the office or from anywhere in the world.
These computer files
will expire after 2 weeks so there is no need to return
items
and no late fees.
Library2Go is free for all cardholders in the Clackamas

What is an OverDrive Audio Book title?
An OverDrive Audio Book title is a digitally-protected audio
book that has been optimized for download. OverDrive Audio
Book titles are built using the Microsoft® Windows Media
Audio format.
You can check out 4 audio books at a time and they expire
from your PC after 2 weeks. A book can
be checked out again if there are no holds on the title, and
you can have 10 holds.
What is the OverDrive Media Console™?
The OverDrive Media Console (available for free on the
Library2Go
website) allows you to download and listen to OverDrive
Audio Book titles in high-quality Windows Media Audio format
on any Windows computer running Windows (98 Second Edition,
Millennium Edition, Windows 2000, Windows XP).
OverDrive Media Console also permits you to create and burn
CDs of your audio books (when allowed by the publisher) for
use in your car, home stereo, or portable CD player. With
the OverDrive Media Console you can also transfer your audio
books to supported portable devices.
