November Computer Classes

Learn how to use computers and Internet resources at the Library. We offer tutorials that cover varying computing topics.

Sign up for a one-on-one session with our computer tutor and get answers to your most vexing personal computer use issues. In November one-on-one sessions are offered Nov. 6, 13,  and 20 between 10 a.m. and 12 noon. Call the library for a  half-hour session with our volunteer tutor, Cathy.

The library also offers sessions to help users with specific topics and can accommodate up to 6 students.

The computer classes for November are as follows:

NEW! November 6:  Internet Security: Keeping your passwords and online accounts secure– The online world  can open up your accounts and computer to various kinds of unscrupulous activity. Learn how to keep your computer and online accounts safe including: Facebook security; E-mail security and settings; Secure passwords; Avoiding “phishing scams.”

November 13: Beginning Microsoft Word

NEW! November 20: Library2Go–How to download eBooks– Emphasis is on downloading to Kindles but bring your iPad and we’ll help with that as well.
