Steve Woods Talks “Sorta Tough” on Feb. 26

Don’t miss our first author event of the year! Estacada resident and former school principal Steve Woods has written a book called Sorta Tough and he will talk about it and sign copies at the library on Wednesday, Feb. 26 starting at 6 p.m. A short reception will begin the evening followed by Steve’s presentation.

What is the book about? It’s part memoir and part inspiration, with the sport of wrestling as an underlying theme. Here’s what the back cover says:

“This book is about much more than the sport of wrestling.  Steve Woods tells about the life lessons and character traits that wrestling can teach. He gives great insight into his time at Oregon State under legendary coach Dale Thomas. Today’s society could learn an awful lot about working, competing and earning your own way through life.  I would suggest this book for anyone.” –Troy Steiner–graduate of Iowa and an NCAA Champion in 1992 and a four time All-American. He coached in Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota and at Oregon State.
